Pax Autocratica

How This Pax Autocratica Wiki Checks Sources

Every source this wiki cites, when each was last read, how it was obtained, and what we do when two sources disagree. Read before trusting a claim here.

Updated Aug 16 · Last verified: 2026-08-16

Every factual claim on this site should trace back to one of the entries below. If one does not, it should not be here, and we would like to know.

Last full verification pass: 2026-08-16. Figures that move — price, patch dates, review counts — are re-read on each pass and carry the date they were read.

Type Count What it means
Primary 4 The developer, the publisher, or the storefront itself
Community 1 Named, dated player reports on an official forum
Secondary 0 We do not cite anonymous aggregator sites at all

Primary sources

Steam store page — Pax Autocratica (app 1067360) Valve / Multiverse · read 2026-08-16 The origin for price, release date, supported languages, controller support, platform list and PC requirements. Read through Steam's own store API rather than scraped from the page, so values arrive as structured data instead of text we would have to interpret. Requirements are returned as HTML and transcribed by hand. → Store page on Steam

Official announcement archive (app 1067360) Multiverse, via Steam Community Announcements · read 2026-08-16 Every patch note, the Early Access launch post, and the August 13 "State of the Frontline" post. Read through Valve's news API, which returns the full text of each announcement — so quotations here are extracted from the source rather than retyped, and cannot drift from what was published. 30 announcements were available at the last pass, dating back to 2026-01-21. → Announcement archive on Steam

Early Access roadmap Multiverse, via the Steam store description · read 2026-08-16 ⚠️ Published as an image, not text. No storefront text search will surface its contents. We viewed the image in the launch announcement; because we cannot reproduce it as a verifiable list, Roadmap describes what the announcement says about the roadmap rather than transcribing milestones we might misread.

Steam store page — Pax Autocratica: Prologue (app 4107120) Valve / Multiverse · read 2026-08-16 Used only to confirm that a separate Prologue release exists and what it costs. See the disagreement note below.

Community sources

Steam Community discussions (app 1067360) Named players, on the game's official forum · read 2026-08-16 Used for Crashes and Fixes, where the problems people actually hit do not appear in any official document. Every symptom is attributed to a dated thread. We do not treat a single report as a confirmed bug — a symptom is listed once it appears from multiple people, or once the developer responds to it.

What we do not use

  • Anonymous aggregator and "cheat table" sites. They republish each other, and a wrong number spreads across all of them in a day
  • Other fan wikis. Copying another wiki's conclusion means inheriting its mistakes without inheriting its evidence
  • AI-generated summaries of any of the above

⚠️ A note on impersonation. On 2026-01-21 the developer published a security notice about a fraudulent website impersonating the game. If you are downloading anything called Pax Autocratica from somewhere that is not Steam, stop. This wiki sells nothing and hosts no downloads.

When sources disagree

It happens, and we would rather show you the disagreement than quietly pick a side.

Worked example, found on 2026-08-16: the Prologue's store description opens with the words "Free stand-alone Prologue", and the release carries no price and no purchase package — but Steam's API returns is_free: false for it.

Our reading: the store description and the absence of any price are the stronger evidence, and the metadata flag is inconsistent with them. So FAQ says the Prologue "carries no price" rather than asserting a flat "it's free", and this note exists so you can see why the wording is careful.

The general rules we follow:

  1. Official statements beat inference. If the developer has not said it, we write "not announced" rather than reasoning our way to an answer
  2. "Not announced" is not "no". Consoles are the clearest case — never mentioned is not the same as ruled out, and we say so on PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch
  3. Your game beats this wiki. Early Access patches land every one to three days. Where a number here disagrees with what is in front of you, the game is right
  4. Dates over version numbers. This developer publishes no version numbers, so every claim is anchored to a patch date instead — see Update History

FAQ

How often is everything rechecked?

Each page carries its own Last verified date. Pages tied to patch content get rechecked when a patch lands; pages tied to price and platform get rechecked on each full pass.

Why is the source count so small?

Because the game is six days into Early Access and almost everything worth knowing comes from the developer directly. A larger list would mean padding it with sites that are themselves copying Steam.

I found something wrong

Check the Last verified date on that page first — if it predates the newest Steam announcement, we have not caught up yet. Beyond that, corrections are welcome through the contact route on Contact.

Is this site official?

No. This is a fan-made reference with no connection to Multiverse. Official channels are listed on Official Links.
