Pax Autocratica Factions Guide

Identify the confirmed powers in the Tyrus system, what the campaign says about each, and where the game stays silent. Numeric rules and mistakes included.

The Tyrus system contains several hostile powers rather than one interchangeable enemy army. The three named in the campaign so far are the Urselon, the Outlaws of Alisia, and the Set Flary of Arto.

What it is

The campaign sends you into a fractured system whose factions must be defeated sector by sector. The introductory dialogue names the Outlaws of Alisia and the Set Flary of Arto as the powers you are expected to bring down.

How to unlock it

Faction conflict begins through the campaign and expedition map, not through a base blueprint. The opening combat introduces Urselon forces, while later sector progress exposes local powers. There is no separate faction menu to unlock.

How to operate it

Use the expedition map and mission objective to identify the force controlling the current area. Prepare for the objective shown rather than assuming every faction encounter has the same target or reward. Capturable humanoid enemies can feed the Prison labor loop when the capture system is active.

Numeric rules

The game publishes no faction count, reputation scale, resistance table, or reward multiplier. This page therefore records confirmed identities and behavior without inventing diplomatic numbers.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming the three named factions are the complete list.
  • Claiming the Outlaws or Set Flary have mechanics the campaign never states.
  • Assuming every hostile unit can be captured.
  • Choosing a combat build from a faction name when no resistances or weaknesses are documented.

When to use it or avoid it

Use this page to orient yourself when the campaign names a group or sector. For actual preparation, follow the objective and enemy-strength display in the current expedition.

What the campaign says about each faction

Urselon forces are a recurring threat in the opening. In-game dialogue states that their biological assimilation turns captured humans into obedient husks, and later dialogue says Urselon has fractured Tyrus and that sectors must be taken one by one.

The Outlaws of Alisia and the Set Flary of Arto are named as fractured factions the player is expected to bring down. Their full history and unique combat mechanics are not spelled out in the current build.
